Prepare for the GHS Chemical Labeling Deadline with Drew & Rogers
What is GHS?
The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals, commonly known as GHS, is a new labeling standard set forth by OSHA requiring chemical manufacturers to re-document and re-label all chemical products by June 1st 2015.
The goal of GHS is to ensure the safe transport of all chemical products by making chemical hazard warnings universal and easy to understand through standardized pictograms and required text on each label.
What This Means
Chemical companies will have to spend the time, energy, and money to revise their current labeling systems and implement new ones. Decisions have to be made on how to print, and on what to print new compliant labels.
How Drew & Rogers Can Help
Our printers and label stock have undergone rigorous testing and are GHS certified. Our team of GHS experts is ready to custom tailor a GHS printing program to meet your business needs and most importantly, your budget. Give us a call today!
